Many Many Thanks....
To Jen Clancy & Hollis Kellogg for the support it took to plan and execute our Lasagna Dinner & Concert. To Athena for her sterno racks, table clothes, and for posting flyers, to Twila for flyer posting in Washingtonville. To Bernadette and Marina for making 17 trays of Lasagna with me, and Gita for making an additional 12 with me when our number had jumped from 64 to 94 guests 2 days before the event. To Kevin C. and David W. who tirelessly washed I don't know how many dishes and made multiple emergency runs to the store. To Diane D. for donating all of the Salad ingredients and to Terry P. our salad maker extroidonaire! To Marcia and Rebecca for all their help serving the Lasagna and desserts and to our waiters and waitresses: Bernadette , Posha, Gita , Bob H., Bill D., Anne B. , and Mark. To Barbara H. & Athena who greeted our guests and Vince our debonair matre de. Thanks again to Anne who rounded up a cooler, table clothes, made iced tea and donated the beautiful flowers from her gardens at home and who also graciously housed half of the lasagna in her refrigerator. Thank you also to the Kenney's who donated ice and their cooler. To my wonderful husband Vic, who once again rescued us by bringing the 35 extra chairs we so desperately needed to seat everyone and then transporting them to and from St. Anne's. To Rev. Jim for helping with the set up. And anyone else I may have forgotten by accident, and to everyone who put up with me the day of the event....your help and your patience was so much appreciated.
Kudos and a huge thank you to Hollis Kellogg who organized a wonderful show, and also to the performers who regalled us with their talent: Adrian, Jen & Kate, Jim, Anya, Johnathan , Mike . I got such wonderful feed back from both UU and non-UU's alike. A lot of good will was generated and you all truly shined!
To everyone else who helped promote the dinner, sell the tickets or who brought a ticket themselves....Thank you!
It is you who made this event a tremendous success. Priliminary counts indicated that we served dinner to a little over 100 guests with a net profit of approximately $1000.00! You helped this event totally exceed every expectation.

"Two songwriters of the congregation, Keith Jordan and
Jackie Venable, asked the children if they would like
to write a song about their feelings and observations
about the meetinghouse and their hopes and dreams for
the future. During a series of collaborative sessions
in religious education class, the children expressed
their feelings in words and music. The beautiful song
Rebirth is the result.
Purchase
the Rebirth C.D. for $10 in the fellowship hall
after service and help support our UUCRT Building Fund.
